A couple building their dream retirement home in Brasstown contacted us to help include solar electricity into their vision. Their new custom home was already being built with a passive solar design, which means the architecture of the home is used to maximize natural heating in the winter and cooling in the summer. We had a chance to tour the house while it was being constructed, and it’s really quite an amazing and unique home!
To complete their eco-house and help them live with the smallest possible electric bills, we installed a 9.9kW solar array next to the house. We were happy to be part of creating this couple’s dream home!
